The team of students and teachers of Erasmus+ program KA2 project \u201cAll Your Dreams Can Come True if You Have the Courage to Pursue\u201d (\u201cYoung Entrepreneurs\u201d) on \u00a03rd<\/sup> of February, 2022 visited the restaurant \u201cPirmas blynas\u201d (\u201cFirst Pancake\u201d). The director of the restaurant, Tim van Wijk, told the story of the \u201cFirst Pancake\u201d and presented the social mission – not only to provide opportunities for disabled people to work, but most importantly, to help society overcome negative prejudices about disabled people.<\/p>\n

We unanimously recommend visiting \u201cFirst Pancake\u201d: the staff is hospitable, the food is delicious, the interior is unique!<\/p>\n

\u201c… because in fact this institution was established not only so that the disabled would have the opportunity to work, but so that other people could also get to know them, \u201cgetting over\u201d various negative and preconceived notions about the disabled.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI would definitely recommend it. This institution forces you to change your negative beliefs about people with disabilities and to communicate with them. After being in this institution, it is easy to make sure that people with disabilities can also be full members of society.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, because it’s a different kind of cafe and it’s nice to see people who can work with a disability.\u201d<\/p>\n
